The 2026 Give & Take is officially in the books. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated items, volunteered their time, shared our posts, saved grocery bags, helped with setup and cleanup, and came to shop. This event only happens because of a community full of generous people who are willing to help their neighbors.

A special thank you to all of our volunteers! You carried bags, sorted donations, organized tables, directed traffic, cleaned up, and kept everything running smoothly. We truly could not do this without you. And thank you to the Melcher Dallas Lions Club for your generosity and help make this event possible!!

Year after year, I'm amazed by the generosity of this community and the number of families that are blessed through this event.

Thank you for making the 2026 Give & Take such a success.

The Give & Take is one of my favorite community events because it gives perfectly good items a second life while helping local families find things they can use.

🎉 GIVE & TAKE IS THIS WEEK! 🎉

The countdown is on! We are just days away from another amazing Give & Take event at the Melcher-Dallas Community Center. ❤️

🟢 GIVE DAY (Donations)
📅 Friday, June 5
⏰ 1pm–6pm ONLY

Start gathering those gently used clothes, toys, books, dishes, household items, décor, baby items, and more!

🟣 TAKE DAY (Everything is FREE!)
📅 Saturday, June 6
⏰ 8am–1pm ONLY

Come "shop" for FREE and take home items your family can use.

This event is all about neighbors helping neighbors, reducing waste, and blessing our community. We can't wait to see what treasures come through the doors this year!

🛍️ We need your plastic grocery bags! 🛍️

As we prepare for this year’s Give & Take event, we are collecting clean plastic grocery bags to help the volunteers organize shoppers items during the event.

If you have bags piling up at home, we would LOVE to take them off your hands! 😊

These bags help us:
✔️ Bag items for families
✔️ Keep the event running smoothly
✔️ Organize shoppers’ items during the busiest hours

You can drop them off or bring them with your donations on GIVE day!

🙋‍♀️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🙋‍♂️

The 2026 Give & Take is coming up June 5th & 6th, and we would love your help making this community event possible! 💛

The Give & Take is a FREE community event where people can donate gently used items on Friday and anyone can come “shop” for FREE on Saturday. Clothing, toys, household items, dishes, décor, and more!

We are looking for volunteers to help during 2-hour shifts:

📅 Friday, June 5 (Donation Day)
🕙 3p–5p

📅 Saturday, June 6 (Shopping Day)
🕙 10a–12p

✨ Volunteer Perk:
Volunteers get early access Friday to look through items and keep anything they find before the event opens to the public!

The 2026 Give & Take is coming up and I’m so excited to bring our community together again!

📍 Location: Community Center in Melcher-Dallas
📅 Dates: June 5th & 6th

🟢 GIVE (Drop-Off):
Friday, June 5th
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

🟡 TAKE (Pick-Up):
Saturday, June 6th
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Come clear out what you no longer need and find something new to bring home—all while blessing others in the process. 💛
