Few things have stressed me out more than trying to finagle a new carseat into someone else’s car. Where was PJ Morton’s MERCY when I needed it?! It’s the perfect anthem for giving gratitude after you get through a seemingly impossible challenge!

I love a modern Western because the landscapes are gorgeous, the cowboys wear tight jeans, there’s a good ole fashioned town conflict, and the ladies are not what you’d expect (she’s a piano playing business owner who runs a lavender farm!).

Oh Sweet Magnolias, yall have me longing for the neighborhood fair, the local restaurant where everybody knows each other, a good cry on the porch, and whispering about town gossip! I am not a Southerner by birth but I’ve lived in the south for 22 years and the newly released Season 5 episodes are giving me all the best feels so far. Rollercoaster of emotions & all!

Anyways, Congrats Joshua Henry! Once I was actually able to hear your speech in full, I was moved!!

I’ve seen Joshua Henry in Porgy & Bess and Violet. I likely saw him in In The Heights but can’t confirm (December 2008) and I just missed his princely turn in Into the Woods on Broadway. You are a spectacular performer and leader. So happy for you!
