I wanted to share this cool xray of Lager, one of my male axolotls. He'd been floating vertical in his tank which indicates constipation. I tried all of the things I know to help but nothing worked. So I brought him to see the amazing Dr Megan at American Animal Hospital in Neenah! She did xrays and confirmed hes constipated but doesn't appear to be blocked with something foreign (which i figured since hes in a bare bottom tank). So we're starting with meds to see if we can get things moving. So yes, I'm giving my axolotl oral meds daily!
