Finished these this morning. I am going to be vertical jigging right outside the harbor in Sheboygan next week for salmon. I am fairly new to fishing here in Sheboygan and this is the best part of my fishing experience. A new location with species of fish that I don’t have a lot of experience with. The fun is tying a jig pattern that I think will produce and then fishing it to find out if the fish agree with me

Early AM at Voyager Park in Depere Wi. First week of April. Anyone can catch a trophy walleye here providing you follow a couple of good rules. The first and most important rule is to be there at the right time of the season. And that is the first two weeks in April. Second, fish at night. Third, during this time fish as many days as you can. Good luck

My innovation on the Chatter Bait that I came up with about 20 years ago. They are approximately 12-13”
Tied with 1/2” rabbit Zonker, flash, and bucktail on a 5/0 heavy stainless steel hook. The photo is of a customer who told me that he wore one out by catching so many pike.

From an In-Fisherman article. This is Jason Treb who caught the big pike on one of my Enthraller jigs. The Enthraller is a 8” long, wide rabbit tail-I cut my own rabbit, so I can make the tail about 1/2 to 3/4” wide-swimming jig. I am willing to tie a few custom orders if anyone is interested. Denny Manteufel and I went perch fishing on Little Lake Butte Des Morts, Menasha, Wi. in July of 2017? The little lake has been a great perch lake for a long time. In the 2000’s it started producing enough Muskies that fishermen would include this lake as a destination for fishing muskies. I have seen musky under and around the railroad bridge or what is now a walking trail. The lake has a great smallmouth population. They can be hard to find but once you find them you can catch a bunch. My biggest was twenty and three quarters inches. A good day would be 20 to 30 fish. My best day was 56. Lots of northern pike.
