This is a Thos. Walker & Son Ltd Birmingham electric ship's log used to measure distance on the open sea. The electric log was at the helm and was connected to the mechanical log at the stern of the ship. It measures 10" tall and is 7" in diameter at the base. It is very heavy duty and is made of brass and metal. Some of the brass coating is worn but the log is in very nice condition.

These are very large old iron port & starboard side oil burning ship's lantern. They were built by A-Ward Hendrickson Bklyn. & Co. Inc. N.Y. and used on the Great Lakes. They stand 24" tall with handle up and 19.5" down, 11.5" wide, 11" deep, and weigh 16 lbs. The Fresnel lenses are in good condition with some edge chipping and scratches as seen in the pictures.The oil burners are missing so we added new lamp sockets and 6" cords. They were painted black which probably accounts for their preserved condition.

This is a vintage ship's Salinometer made for measuring the salt content in a ship's boiler. This is a very rare piece in this condition and very collectable. It is very well made and stands 12" tall, 5 1/2" wide at the base and weighs 3 lbs. 3 oz. This was acquired from a nautical dealer in England.

This is a brass Bullpit style ship's cabin lantern made by Eli Griffiths & Sons Ltd , Great Briton in 1940. We acquired this from a nautical dealer in England. This style is a very collectable and hard to find lantern. This has been modified with a light mounted inside the burner which gives a very cool effect. It is 17" tall, 20 3/4" tall with the bail up, 8.2" wide, 5.5" deep and weighs 12 lbs. It is in very nice condition with a few dings as seen in the pictures and a small crack in the glass on the top right side which can be seen in the pictures. The glass slides out and can be replaced if desired but is not that noticeable.

This is a very rare galvanized oil burning three way lantern made by Perko Marine Lamp & Hardware Corp. Brooklyn, NY. With the handle in the up position, the light measures 18 3/4 inches tall and 15" in the down position, 9 1/4" wide, 7" deep and weighs 8lbs 5 oz. The oil burner is missing. The glass Fresnel lenses is in good condition with a few edge chips. This is a very rare and collectable piece.

This is a very large old galvanized Port side oil burning ship's lantern. It was built by Meteorite in Great Briton. It stands 24" tall with handle and 22" without, 15" wide, 13.5" deep and weighs 16.5 lbs. The oil burner is missing as well as the removable red glass lens. This was painted red which probably accounts for its preserved excellent condition. It has a large glass Fresnel lens in excellent condition. The brass plaque shows METEORITE and model # 67874 and patent No 546575 AND OTHERS PENDING. Another brass plaque shows serial # 1695A.

This is a very large galvanized ship's masthead lantern made be RC Murray & Co of Glasgow Scotland. It has a plaque that reads LAMPADS 685 and is stamped Masthead and Patent 546575.

It measures 22.5" tall, 14.5" wide and weighs 19.6 lbs. The 235 degree Fresnel is so large it was made in two pieces and is in very good condition with the exception of one edge chip in the center. The total lens measures 9" wide by 7.5" tall. The lamp has been electrified as can be seen in the pictures and is missing its top handle.

This is a large copper ship's lantern made by JH PETERS & BEY from Hamburg Germany. They have been building ship lights since 1881. It is 19" tall with bail down, 13" wide, 11" deep and weighs almost 12 lbs. It has a Kosmos oil burner which is considered one of the finest oil burners ever made. The glass chimney has been replaced with a Kosmos replacement. It has a removable red lens to signify port side operation. The glass Fresnel lens is in good shape and shows two inspection etching numbers . It is 7" tall and 10" wide with some edge chips and some cloudiness as shown in the pictures. The lantern has spent years at sea and shows some dings and dents.
