🌽 WHAT A DAY, MENDOTA! 🌽

Today’s Mendota Sweet Corn Festival Parade was about so much more than being in a parade… it was about teamwork, community, and having some FUN together!

For a day, we put work aside, came together as a team, and enjoyed everything that makes Mendota such a great place.

🙌🏼An incredible crowd
😊 Kids’ faces lighting up as we went by
☀️ A community out enjoying a great day together

We had an absolute blast being part of it all.

Way to go, Mendota! You sure know how to show up for the Sweet Corn Festival! 👏🏼

We are officially signed up to be in the Mendota Sweet Corn Festival Parade on August 9th!

Would you like to strut your stuff for our admiring public this summer? Take some time to be creative and celebratory? Just want to put on a silly costume and wave? Join our Grand Parade- August 9th 2026, at the Mendota Sweet Corn Festival! Who will win our category prizes?

Vintage cars and tractors are encouraged, as are community groups walking or riding a float. Local dance and outreach groups for kids and adults are also encouraged to register. It is an opportunity to let people see you and see what you are about!

Have some fun with it- we’ll enjoy ourselves!
