🐾 DON’T WORRY… XENA IS SAFE! 😂❤️
First off, thank you to everyone who reached out, tagged us, and made sure Xena was okay! I really appreciate everyone looking out for her.
For those who may not know, Home of Yesteryear has two official shop dogs — Coco and Xena. 🐶🐶
Coco has been holding down the fort for about 9 years, right here at the same location. He's basically part employee, part greeter, and part security guard.
Xena joined in February after Ken passed away and has quickly decided this is her business too. 😂
Now, Xena and Coco have developed a little side hustle… she likes to leave the store, stay on the sidewalk, and make her way over to Kristy at Sticks & Stones for some treats! 🦴😂
And before anyone starts worrying — the dogs do NOT leave the sidewalk. They aren't running through traffic or taking off on some grand adventure. They simply like to make their little neighborhood rounds. Apparently, Sticks & Stones has better employee benefits. 😂
As for the photos in the post… well… those were taken right near the store during one of Xena’s more embarrassing moments. 🤦♂️😂 She decided the sidewalk was apparently the perfect place for a quick potty break.
Don't worry — it has since been washed off! 😂🧼
So if you see a brown Doberman and tan Chihuahua making their way down the sidewalk, you don't need to call the authorities just yet. She's probably just headed for her afternoon treat appointment. 😂🐾
Thank you again to everyone who cares about our two shop dogs. They really have become part of Home of Yesteryear and part of our little community. It's great to hear people talk about them and see the joy they bring to people's faces. ❤️
