I am SO excited for the Fox Valley Pride festival tomorrow! I love to create art in general, but I’m passionate about faith, justice, feminism & LGBTQ art! I will have my fiber laser with me at the festival tomorrow and can engrave on rings, bracelets, and necklaces! I will be offering free engraving at the festival! Come by and say hi!!

let’s talk washers! I was so excited to create these when I first got my fiber laser! They are simple, sleek and you can have as many washers on a necklace as you like! These are great for names or a short mantra. I have pronoun washers ready to go for Pridefest, but I’ll have my laser at my booth and you can engrave ANYTHING you want on them!

Do you have a mantra that you want to wear? I have these metal circles that I can engrave on! You can engrave on the front, the back, or both!

Today I am wearing my ALLY necklace. On the back is the statement ‘I will not stay silent so you can stay comfortable.’ It’s a reminder of why I ally.

Other necklaces I have made like this say ‘I dissent,’ ‘resist,’ and preferred pronouns.

It’s the beginning of Pride month and I have been busy creating a lot of arts and crafts! I started this business 6 years ago as an artistic outlet to deal with my job. I wanted to create art that sparkled. Art that was bright. Art that offered love to those who received it. So I started to learn how to make tumblers using a lot of glitter, some resin and some vinyl. I had a lot of fun that first year! I made over 30 unique pride tumblers for friends and colleagues. And from there, my interest spread.

Fast forward to today, and the Crafty Ally no longer makes glittery resin tumblers. I have graduated from the Cricut to having TWO lasers to cut, craft and create art. My favorite art is art that is meaningful. And I’m going to share 1 piece of inspired art every day of Pride Month. If a piece resonates with you, please contact me and I can create one for you! And if you have an idea of something, I’d love to make it a reality for you.

I’m not selling online, but rather focusing on Pridefest’s around the area. I am signed up to sell merch at the Fox Valley Pridefest June 13, the Green Bay Pridefest 6/20 and the Kenosha Pridefest on 7/11. If you can’t make it to one of those shows, but would like to get something to celebrate Pride, please let me know!

Today, June 1st, I offer up my Lutheran Pride tote bag! This tote bag is made of canvas and measures approximately 15.5 inches wide and 12 includes tall. The straps are extra long so you can throw it over your shoulder. It come with a zipper at the top of the bag and a small sleeve on the inside to put smaller items. I created this Luther’s Rose by playing with and learning Procreate on my iPad.
