The Supreme Court is going to make a decision.

⚖️ BREAKING: HDA’S CASE IS HEADED TO THE U.S. SUPREME COURT

This morning, the Supreme Court agreed to hear Department of Justice v. McNutt—the case involving the Hobby Distillers Association and our fellow plaintiffs challenging the federal prohibition on home distilling.

The government asked the Supreme Court to review our Fifth Circuit victory, and the Court has now granted that request.

What does this mean? The legal fight continues. Today’s order is an agreement to hear the case, not a ruling on whether the prohibition is constitutional.

A reminder:
The store (Beverage Artisan) will be moving to another building, but in the same complex. The move will be from the current location at 310 to new location at 302 B.
The store will be CLOSED the weekend of October 29 through 31 so all products can be moved to the new location. The store will reOPEN November 5 our regular days and hours: Thursday and Friday 11am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm.

I'm preparing to move the store. I need to get rid of heavy stuff to make it easier. ALL w**e kits on my shelves are $15 dollars off until I close for the actual move. Price taken off when checking out at the register. (Example: $89.25 - $15 = $74.25, and so on)
To sweeten the deal, if someone buys two or more w**e kits at once, I will throw in, for free, a 30-count bag of corks for each kit.
You have two more weeks to take advantage of this offer. I will not hold kits aside. The scheduled move day is October 28.

Ooops. My original crude map did not convey the layout of this complex correctly. For those who these things matter, I tried to represent my new location more accurately with this revised diagram. Thanks for catching my error. I will still be across the street from brewery nønic, just hidden farther back amongst the other buildings.

The City will be distributing free bottled water to city residents who are experiencing low water pressure. City of Menomonie residents can pick up water at the City of Menomonie Community Services Shop at 621 11th Ave West (near the Hwy 29 bridge over the Red Cedar River) on Thursday, July 16, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Limit of one case of water per household while supplies last. Enter the parking lot via Wilson Ave West and follow signage.
