The City will be distributing free bottled water to city residents who are experiencing low water pressure. City of Menomonie residents can pick up water at the City of Menomonie Community Services Shop at 621 11th Ave West (near the Hwy 29 bridge over the Red Cedar River) on Thursday, July 16, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Limit of one case of water per household while supplies last. Enter the parking lot via Wilson Ave West and follow signage.

Below is a blog entry about wines and sediments.

I tell new winemakers that before wine was served and stored in glass, no one ever saw or cared about the sediment - unless you felt it in your mouth. With the advent of clear glass bottles and wine glasses, people began to notice. Some along the way decided clear wine was better and started this total clarity thing.

I’m not saying that cloudy wine is appealing, just that it’s natural and does not usually changes the taste of wine. You decide, wine was made for enjoyment and not a way to judge other people on their tastes or ability to make wine.

Wine Sediment... suddenly you find little bits at the bottom of your wine, it makes you wonder... Is the wine bad? Should I still drink it?
