🍂 Welcome Autumn! Today marks the first day of fall at the Mercer Island Thrift Shop. As the seasons shift, we are officially transitioning our inventory and parting ways with our summer collections.

To accommodate this change, we are no longer accepting donations of seasonal summer items, including:

🧑‍🌾 Gardening tools

Please note that the Mercer Island Thrift Shop will be closing early at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 10th for a team event.

An incredible milestone for Mercer Island! 💙

We had a tremendous turnout for our Labor Day sale on Monday. Seeing this community come together to support our shop and our mission to fund Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS) is truly inspiring.

Thanks to the dedication of 50+ volunteers and the overwhelming generosity of our neighbors, we achieve over $20,000 in sales!

A special shout-out and hats off to our incredible customers: those who began lining up at 8:30 AM, and everyone who patiently waited in our checkout line for over an hour to take home their new treasures. Your patience and enthusiasm made this success possible.

Thank you for your endless support of MIYFS and the entire Mercer Island community. We could not do this without you! 🙌

Join us this Monday for our annual Labor Day 50% off storewide sale at the Mercer Island Thrift Shop!

To ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for all shoppers, here is what you can expect during the event:
▪ Entry and Checkout: Expect lines throughout the day. A dedicated line attendant will manage entry, and three checkout registers will run continuously to keep lines moving.
▪ Holds Area: A designated hold area will be available at the front of the store while you browse.
▪ Assisted Access: Floor associates will be on hand with keys to assist with locked display cases and secure items.
▪ Fresh Restocks: New merchandise will be rolled out onto the sales floor all day.

Store Hours & Logistics
🛍 Shopping Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📦 Donations: The donation drop-off center will be closed on Monday and will reopen on Tuesday, September 8.
