A little thank-you from Meriden Market.

First, we want to say a genuine THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our Mommy & Mini Me Market today! Whether you shopped, grabbed something to eat or drink, visited with our vendors, participated in our 9 giveaways, or simply stopped in to see what we had going on, we appreciate you being there more than you know.

A huge thank-you to every vendor who spent their Sunday with us, set up their businesses, brought their products, and gave our little market a chance. It takes a lot of people coming together to make these events happen, and we never want that effort to go unappreciated.

We’re still looking into what we want to do moving forward with the Meriden Market. With the colder months, we still have lots of options for events. We haven’t decided

With the colder months approaching, We’re not yet sure whether we’ll switch to occasional seasonal markets, sip n paints, craft nights, loaded tea menu tasting, or focus on the warmer months when the timing is better for everyone. We want to be thoughtful about what makes sense for our vendors, our shoppers, and our community. We’re always available for feedback!

One thing we do know is that we’re incredibly thankful for everyone who has supported this little adventure so far. Meriden Market was created to bring people together, give small businesses a place to share what they do, and bring a little extra life into our small town. That vision still means a lot to us, even as we figure out the best way to move forward as fair as which types of events and the frequencies.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your support, and for being part of this journey with us. We’ll share more when there’s a better idea of what’s next. Until then, please continue supporting our local vendors and small businesses whenever you can. It truly makes a difference!

Okay, guys … today’s the day

Yes, it’s windy out there right now! BUT the forecast says it should start calming down soon after we get going, and the temperature is even supposed to climb to the 60s (and the highest of the day) during the market! So grab a light jacket, shacket, vest, or coat if you need, bring your favorite shopping buddy, and come spend some of your Sunday with us!

We’ve got indoor AND outdoor vendors, handmade goodies, unique finds, food, drinks, including The Thirsty Onyx Mobile Drink Oasis BRAND-NEW fall menu and Lucky Wife W**e Slushies famous w**e slushies, $75 fall mini sessions and a $10 photo booth with Julia Lynn Photography, and so much more!

A little vendor update: Unfortunately, J&J’s Old Fashioned Kettle Corn won’t be able to join us today because the wind makes it unsafe and difficult to pop their kettle corn on-site. Their kettle corn is always made fresh right at the event, and the weather just isn’t cooperating this time around. We’re especially sad to miss them because today was supposed to be their last event and popcorn tasting of the year! Please show them some love, and hopefully we’ll see them back next season!

Whether you’re coming to shop, grab a drink (or a few🤪), get updated family photos, find a cute gift, or just get out of the house for a bit, we’d LOVE to see you! We’ve put so much love into bringing this event together, and there’s still plenty to come check out!

If you’ve been meaning to come to one of our markets but haven’t made it yet… TODAY IS YOUR DAY! You don’t have to spend a fortune or stay all afternoon. You can show up, see what you want, buy what you need, and do a classic ‘Irish goodbye’. Otherwise, you can come take a look, say hi, grab a treat, and enjoy a Sunday spent supporting small businesses!

While you’re shopping tomorrow, make sure you look for our Meriden Market-branded tables! We always have an acrylic rotating display filled with some of our favorite brands and businesses from near and far, including businesses and services that have joined us at Meriden Market and some we’ve been lucky enough to discover along the way!

And if you love a good thrift find, vintage pieces, and unique home décor, you’ll want to check out our modern and vintage décor and antiques, too! We’ve spent the last few weeks stopping at as many places as we could find between here and Spirit Lake, hunting for fun finds to bring along.

We’ll also have business cards available from some of our favorite stops, so you can discover new local favorites, find services you might need, and support some of the small businesses we love as well!

Don’t see your favorite brand(s) and business(es)? Bring along some business cards for our display! We have guests from all over in attendance at our events, and our business cards are often browsed and people love to take them for later!

I stumbled across these adorable photo ideas on Pinterest, and I HAD to share them! We always think about fall minis for the kids, the family, or the Christmas cards… but what about photos of your babies with their grandparents?!
