From next Monday, May 4th, will re-open for our normal hours. We ask that you remain at home until you are well if you are sick. You can still place orders for with us via email. For customers coming in to visit us, please wear a mask if you have one available. If you do not have one, we should have some available for you to use if you choose to do so after Wednesday. Most of our suppliers are up and running so it should not be a problem to get things ordered if necessary.

The coronavirus is affecting everyone, as we all know. Effective immediately we will no longer be open on Saturdays. For now we intend to maintain our normal Monday to Friday hours of 9am-6pm. Saturdays and Sundays we will be open by appointment only. This could change as the situation changes. While the virus has not yet been found in Meridian, it will get here soon enough. If you are feeling ill for whatever reason, please stay home until it passes as currently recommended. We will keep your completed work here at the store, and it will be available for you to pickup when you are well again. Thanks, and stay safe.

So, a few of you may have noticed that we had a car drive through the front of the shop yesterday afternoon. No one was hurt in the accident. This did effectively shut us down for a couple of hours, as we dealt with the mess and waited on a tow truck to come remove the vehicle. With the help of our employees, friends, family and a customer, we were able to replace the shattered door and bend the remaining handrails back to near vertical by early evening. So, after a short "break" (pun intended), we were back at work completing your orders for the holidays. Everything is moving along, and if you have work to be completed, as always, we will call you as soon as it is ready. Thanks!

We received our shipment of FRESH PECANS the 2nd weeks of October, as always, in support of the First Ladies Civitans Club. They are $11 for a 1 pound box, same as last year. Better get them while they are still here!

A beautiful snowy day today, and YES, we are open. We will be open all day today unless we lose power. At the current time (9:15am Friday morning) North Hills is slushy and wet but otherwise seems fine. No ice currently on the road. If you do plan to come by today, be sure to pay close attention to road conditions in your area, as conditions do change. Drive safely!

We still have tickets for Les Miserables tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon, being put on by Stage 2 at the MHS auditorium. Adults $15, Students $10.
