We left Idaho around 8 am to head home. We are now about 8 hours away. Going to be rolling in late tonight. But we are enjoying the drive!

We had a great time at the show! The club has the nicest and most helpful group! We can't wait till next year! We will be back!

We had a great time at the koi show and meeting up with JR and Andrea of Aha Farms! We have plans in the future with this business!

This weekend was the 32nd Annual Koi Show at Edwards Greenhouse and Flowershop. Where we got to meet up with our friends Mike and Melissa from Hakuna Mata Koi. Hakuna Mata Koi have a great line of Koi food, Koi treats ,jewelry and so much more. Our koi love there treats.

We have been working toward offering a high-quality food formulated specifically with the nutritional needs and digestive capabilities of koi in mind.

Our formula is made with NO unnecessary fillers, focuses on highly digestible ingredients, and has been developed and endorsed by a well-known Aquatic Veterinarian.

We are currently offering our Large 7mm Pellet in three convenient sizes:

• 20 lb — $160

🔬 We’re continuing to improve the formula through research.

Our next label update will reflect Turnip Powder instead of Potato Powder. As part of our ongoing research into koi nutrition, we reviewed research conducted at Prairie View A&M University in which turnip powder produced the greatest growth response among the ingredients evaluated. Based on those findings, we have chosen to incorporate turnip powder into our formula.

We would love for some of our customers to put HMK Premium Professional Koi Food to the test! We will also be feeding and evaluating the food here at Hakuna Matata Koi so we can monitor the results firsthand.

Can you believe it has already been a year since we had our Grand Opening of our store front?!?!

We have another batch of koi that will be ready on the 5th! These are Otsuka bred and will be $50 each.

Very nice variety we got.

We will be bringing some of these to the Idaho Koi Show on the 12th!

Our lovely Asagi's enjoying the trickle in/trickle out filtration we do twice a week! They love the freshwater AND it is a tad warm so must feel like a spa day for them! LOL

We now have Ki Kikokuryu next to showcase!

They have a beautiful platinum base that just shines! The Ki (yellow) is crisp and shines like gold! As they develop the dark scales on top can become jet black or they may stay a soft grey. Kikokuryu are known for having dramatic changes which make them exciting to watch as they mature!

These are bred by Yamanaka Oya Koi Farm and are $60.
