For his birthday, we all came together to surprise him with something close to his heart, a 60’s Hagstrom bass he’s dreamed about since he was a kid, after seeing it on the cover of the Mel Bay bass method book.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that our store owner, Frank Milano, passed away on Monday, April 6th, just before midnight. He passed peacefully at home, with dignity, and with his family by his side. Frank was born the same year that the store was founded in 1946 and throughout his life he was committed to the business his family created. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Frank was a firm believer in the power of music education and his impact on the state of Arizona can not be overstated. We will proudly strive to keep his musical legacy alive and above all to continue to offer exceptional service to you, our customers. You are the absolute heart of our store and we thank you for helping make Milano Music what it is today.
