1965 - 66 Fender Precision Bass

Original Factory Candy Apple red finish shows wear, exposing the gold undercoat and looks great!

One tuning machine has its cog mounting screw changed

Bridge was changed with a period correct 1970s Fender

Bass is otherwise an excellent sounding, feeling and playing one owner example of a rare 1960s custom color Fender that is any P-bass enthusiasts dream to own.

Neck Plate Serial number is early 1966

Original case is in good condition but also shows sings of age and evidence of a long history of use.

I originally got this from the late Bizarre Bob Turner and sold it back to him right before he passed away. We were getting pretty close as friends, colleagues etc. We had one last talk about rock and roll and how he watched nail his drums to the stage … and then he was gone. He still comes and talks to me in my dreams when things get intense livin life in the guitar lane -5

Made in the Yairi factory in Japan

12th fret action is low and saddle still has plenty of height. If you have been looking tor a nice example of a MIJ Alvarez search no further. This is the nicest example we have ever come across and will be pressed to find another this nice!

Guitar is an estate find and belonged to a Veteran that passed away a few years ago.
His widow held on to it for a few years and now wants it to go to someone that will play it!

Guitar is in great condition with light sings of age and use.
