🔮🚫Crystals you don’t want to take to the pool with you this summer! 🔮🚫

💧💎 Did you know that not all crystals are safe to immerse in water? While some crystals can be safely used for water purposes, there are a few that should be avoided due to potential harm or damage. Here are some examples and the reasons behind their unsuitability for water:

1️⃣ Selenite: Selenite is a beautiful crystal with a delicate structure that dissolves when exposed to water. Soaking it in water can cause it to lose its shape and disintegrate.

2️⃣ Pyrite: Pyrite, also known as "Fool's Gold," should be kept away from water as it can oxidize and create sulfuric acid. This acid can be harmful to both the crystal itself and the surrounding environment.

3️⃣ Malachite: Although visually stunning, malachite is a copper-based mineral. It should not be submerged in water as it can release toxic copper ions, which are not safe for consumption.

4️⃣ Halite (Rock Salt): Halite is a crystal commonly used in salt lamps, but it should not be placed in water. When immersed, it dissolves, altering the balance of water and potentially making it unfit for use.

Always research and understand the properties of each crystal before using them in water-related practices. Some crystals are water-safe and can enhance your experience, but others should be used for different purposes to ensure their longevity and prevent any potential harm.

Remember to respect the unique characteristics of each crystal and prioritize your safety while exploring their metaphysical properties. 💦✨
