Do you need hope? Hope is not found in people. Hope is found in God. The one who created you wants you to know Him, to have His hope. That can only come when you put your trust in His Son Jesus. Read the book of John. Believe God loves you and come to the cross.

Almighty God, You have made the earth and everything it. You change the times and seasons; You set up leaders and you depose them. You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. We choose to submit to You, to follow in obedience with the strength You have provided. Now, may the eyes of our hearts be enlightened to know the hope to which have called us, the riches of our glorious inheritance in the saints, and Your incomparable power at work on our behalf. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Father, I thank You for Your people throughout the earth. You are calling a people for Yourself from every nation, tribe, language, and race, and we are honored to be included. Lord, we pause today to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for the Israelis as they're making decisions on how to respond to the cowardly attack that was launched against them. May they have wisdom from You. We pray for those who have suffered, whose families have lost loved ones, and those who may have been captured. Father, we ask You to intervene. Send Your angels to stand guard around them. I pray that those who were the perpetrators will be identified and exposed. I pray that our nation will not put ourselves in a position that would bring Your judgment upon us because of our treatment of the nation of Israel or the Jewish people. Deliver them from this attack. Protect them from their enemies. Most of all, may they have a revelation of Jesus that will change their destiny. I thank You for what You're doing in the earth, that You're a God who keeps covenant to a thousand generations. We praise You that You have called us to this unique season when we can be watchmen on the walls, and we cry out to You for mercy for Your people. In Jesus' name. Amen.
