To honor the Queen of Country Music, Dolly Parton, we have tweaked our new banana fry pie. Dolly Parton’s favorite dessert was banana pudding, and we all remember her iconic pink outfits throughout the years. Therefore, we’ve added pink coloring to our banana fry pie glaze, as well as the filling. Pink sprinkles are added on top for that extra fabulous touch, something Dolly would have done! These are a limited edition fry pie, ending this Saturday.

It’s back! We are proud to announce that ‘Memories & More of Mesopotamia, Ohio’ by Eli Miller, a highly respected local Amish leather smith, has made a comeback at our store. This is the second round of circulation since his passing. We miss seeing him sit on his front porch, visit with the cafe guys in the morning, getting chicken strips in the afternoon for lunch, and just chatting with him.

From the back cover:
Between these covers, the bygone decades of
smalltown America come to life once more.
The setting...a crossroads village in Trumbull
County, Ohio. The era...the 1950s and 60s. The purpose of this book... a look into the past. Eyewitness to it all, master storyteller Eli Miller spins the lives and times of Mespo townspeople into a captivating history of his hometown. Each chapter leads you into the next: farming and how it was done back then; local businesses round about; people places and happenings. To cap it off, the author describes how the changes through the years, for better-for worse, have made Mespo what it is today.
