Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Paw Paw's Swings-N-Things booth today at the Harahan VFW Post 3267 Christmas in July market. It was a hot but great day today.

This was our first market back at the VFW in over a year, and thanks to your support, we finished the day with 32 sales, 1 furniture order, and nearly sold out of all three of our newest products!

We truly appreciate everyone who supports my small business and the handcrafted items we create right here in Metairie. Thank you, and we hope to see you again soon!

Not everything coming to the Harahan VFW Post 3267 craft fair tomorrow is for the kitchen or bar. We’ll also have these beautiful handcrafted interwoven crosses available at the PawPaw’s Swings N Things booth.

Made from solid hardwoods and designed to be displayed on a shelf or hung on a wall, each cross is individually crafted and highlights the natural beauty of the wood. Available in Cherry or Walnut.

Are y'all ready?! 🎄☀️

This weekend is a big one for the Possums!

Most people only see the fun part...the shopping, the vendors, the gift bags, and all the smiling faces. What they don't see is everything that happens behind the scenes to make it all come together.

Julie and Rachel were at the Harahan VFW this morning moving tables, measuring, and chalking vendor spaces. Tomorrow, Julie will be back over there during the day while Rachel holds down the fort at The Wandering Possum. Then both possums head back to the VFW Friday evening for vendor setup.

Saturday? The day starts bright and early. Julie and Rachel will be at the VFW around **6:00 AM** getting the outdoor vendors lined up and ready to go, then Rachel opens the shop so everything runs smoothly in both places.

It's a lot of planning, a lot of lifting, a lot of logistics...and a whole lot of love for our local small business community.

This event supports **over 50 small businesses**, the **Harahan VFW**, and The Wandering Possum. Every person who walks through the doors makes a difference.

So if you're looking for something fun to do this Saturday, come spend a little time with us! Browse the market, discover some amazing local makers, and then swing by The Wandering Possum. You really can do both!

So I made something for that.

My newest handcrafted kitchen tool safely pulls hot oven racks, strips fresh herbs from stems, and even has a built-in magnet so it sticks right to your fridge or stove.

Simple. Useful. Made to last.

I’ll have these available for the first time this Saturday at the Harahan VFW Post 3267 Christmas in July craft market along with our bread knives and many other handcrafted wood creations.
