The Central Missouri Veterans Coffee Talk is expanding and now offers both a morning and evening session every Tuesday at the Auxvasse Community Center!

Whether you're looking to reconnect with fellow veterans, share stories, discuss resources, or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee and conversation, this is a welcoming place to do just that.

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids this Saturday, Spoon's Bakery and Mini Golf has a good one going 😎

They’re having Kids Movie Night on the Patio this Saturday, June 20th, starting at 6 PM and going until the movie is over. The movie starts at dusk on the big screen.

They’ll have treats, different kinds of popcorn, hot dogs with chips, and $5 mini golf for everyone from 6 PM until the movie is over.

Bakery treats, mini golf, popcorn, hot dogs, a movie outside, and tired kids afterward?

That’s not just an event...that's a whole parenting strategy that this Tiger can really get behind 😂

TIGER DID IT ONCE...SHOULD HE DO IT AGAIN?! 🐯🏀

Last year, history was made. The Harlem Wizards rolled into Mexico, MO for the very first time, the Mexico Muggles team was born, and our very own Tiger Luke suited up for the legendary inaugural game!

He survived the trick shots. He survived the trash talk. He even survived the running lanes at the High School Complex.

Now, the Wizards are returning on October 28th...and the question on everyone's mind at Mexico Tiger Pawn is: Does Tiger Luke lace up the sneakers for Year 2?! 🤔👇

Luke claims he now has "veteran court vision." The rest of the shop thinks he just wants an excuse to wear short-shorts again.
We need the community to make the executive decision. Drop your vote in the comments:

Beyond the laughs and all the fun, this game does some really incredible work for our community. Every ticket and sponsorship directly funds the Audrain County Shelter Resource Coalition (ACSRC) and the Room at at the Inn winter warming shelter. In a town of 11,500 people, looking out for our neighbors when the winter months hit is just what we do 💯

A good community shows up when people need it most.

Brothers Keeper is hosting a BBQ Fundraiser for Jared Allen on June 27th from 10am to 6pm behind Brother’s Keepers in the parking lot.

All proceeds will go to help Jared’s kids with expenses.

Jared touched a lot of lives around Audrain County, and by all accounts he was the kind of guy who would help somebody else when they needed it. Now this is our chance to help his family.

Mexico Tiger Pawn will be donating some silver for the raffle/auction, and we’d love to see the community come together for this.

They are also looking for donated items for the raffle/auction. If you’d like to help, you can contact Brothers Keeper or drop items off at the bar in Mexico, MO.

You know what I miss?

When electronics had personality 😂

Transparent landline phones.
Woodgrain radios.
Cassette players with giant buttons that sounded like a mousetrap every time you hit eject.
TVs built like kitchen appliances.
Cordless phones with antennas you could probably contact aliens with.

Now everything’s just a black rectangle 🤷

Half the fun used to be HOW things looked.

What’s one old-school piece of tech, electronics, gaming gear, or gadget you’d absolutely buy again just for the nostalgia?

And don’t say “my knees from 1999.” We already know 😆
