As much as in „real life“, this also applies to our E-Scooters: The smallest things often have the greatest effect!
One week ago we presented you the heart of our Kumpan, the battery „Kraftpaket 2.0“. Today we are keen to show you a tiny, but no less important part:
The plug to the control system. True to the motto "heart or head" we have decided to use both: The control unit is nothing less than the brain of our Kumpans.
Every single command you give - whether it's accelerating, using the break or giving commands via the display, it all runs via this cable, with the plug, directly into the control module.
In short: Without the plug here nothing works... Therefore it is important to pay tribute to this little wonder - isn't it?

Of course, external appearance is important, but what really counts are the inner values 😉 Our self-developed "power pack", the high-performance lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 28.5 Ah at 51 V nominal voltage - this corresponds to approx. 1.5 kWh.It is also an extremely smart companion, as it is completely digitalised and networked! The battery management system, for example, allows the battery to regulate charging and discharging currents independently to get the best performance and runtime out of it. It can also detect the threat of overheating early on and then "throttle down" itself without you noticing this in your driving behaviour. In addition, the battery "communicates" with the scooter or with other batteries used in the scooter - so different batteries can be used with different charge levels, which then regulate themselves automatically. An acceleration sensor causes the battery display to light up when the power pack is moved, showing the battery charge level.
