It’s been such a busy couple months with the move. I didn’t think to commemorate my dad‘s passing. Combination grief is a complicated thing, when someone loses two people or more that they love within a short period of time. It’s a different type of grief; it’s shattering. Your life breaks into a bunch of pieces and you search for replacements. This evening marks the sixth anniversary on the Hebrew calendar for my mom‘s passing. In my house we would always say well it’s nighttime in Israel so I light the candle early lol I tell everyone the same thing there’s no better mom than a Moroccan mom. ❤️❤️❤️My parents were amazing. My mom was my heart. I miss them both so much. Here’s a beautiful picture of my mother. She was one of the few professional women in Morocco in the 50s. She worked and took care of her family and spoiled her nieces and nephews with great joy. Check out those gorgeous earrings, classy lady. ❤️❤️❤️
