Today, I had my very first catering gig with Hustle Dogs.
I stayed outside cooking and serving hot dogs while my two helpers delivered the food and drinks. After everyone had been served and fed, I finally went inside to check on things and record some content. What happened next caught me completely by surprise—we received a round of applause.
The guests genuinely enjoyed the food, and the owner who invited us out shared some incredibly kind words about our service and the experience we provided. In that moment, I realized something important: giving up is not an option.
I've dreamed of owning my own business for years. Starting this hot dog business was an idea I played around with for a long time, but deciding to go all in was terrifying. It felt risky. It felt crazy. But deep down, I knew it was time.
I won't lie—there are days when I think about quitting and going back to a 9-to-5 job. But then I remember how unhappy I was, and how unhappy I'd be if I gave up on something I truly believe in. So I keep pushing forward. I keep praying for guidance, wisdom, and strength.
I know I still have a lot to learn. I know I have to work harder. But today gave me the confirmation and motivation I needed to keep going.
This is only the beginning.
