Alesa's Inspirations Handmade items for babies and children such as stuffed toys, dolls, wash cloths, hooded bath towels, I dedicate this page and my shop to her.

My shop offers baby gift items handmade by me such as hooded bath towels, wash cloths, and burp cloths, and stuffed cuddly animals as well as gift sets and baskets. I also include handmade dolls, quilts, blankets/comforters, fleece throws and if you don't see it, ask about it. The inspiration for my shop is my daughter, Alesa, who is severely mentally and physically disabled and brings a joy to my life that only a mother can imagine.

Possibly every day….scary thought 😵‍💫. I’m grateful I can wake up every morning. I wasn’t sure my head was attached to my neck today. My head was in a rough way so it took a bit of time.

So much to do….quilts to load, dog hair to get vacuumed, birds, cats, and dogs to feed…..I’ll stop there. If I can do those I”ll be happy. What does your day look like?

We have had rain the past couple days. Not massive downpours but enough to fill the “pond” in front of us. I love the reflection in the pond of the clouds. Some rain is better than no rain. We really don’t want what other places in Arizona are having.

I rarely buy fabric as I have a truck load. That’s just what quilters do. However, I may buy fabric for backing if I can’t find something in my stash that goes with the top. It has to be”talk” to me.

And….it looks like rain today which means if it does downtown will be swimming. Seems to happen all the time. Guess I better pull my raft out so we can go rafting.

It happens…I don’t feel old…I do feel exhausted much of the time but that isn’t from being old. That’s from losing a child. My nose runs almost constantly. But that’s not from losing a child. That’s from having 3 Chihuahuas and a chiweenie loving on me constantly….allergies. “Old” people take lots of prescriptions….I take one daily and have for years. Therefore, I’m not old.

I love these chickens….Think about what you have been through….if you are young you have a long way to go. If you are “old” you might be like me and wonder how you made it this far. I thought I had been through the worst of my life…and then my daughter passed away. Thank goodness for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I couldn’t do this without Him.

I picked up a bundle of just finished baby/toddler quilts from my co-producers and hope to get them in the shop very soon. Great gift idea.

Yes and therefore while video chatting with my youngest son yesterday I made brownies‼️ I can’t think of anyone currently that I want to kill. Nor is there anything I want to buy. Just getting through each day and having my Excedrin actually get rid of a headache is good for me. I’m trying to get into the “quilting” mode working on a mini wall hanging quilt so I can make my forever friend the quilt she is waiting for. Wish me luck ‼️💝

Dolly was one of my favorites growing up and as an adult. I grew up in one of the hottest areas in Arizona. A small town where everyone knew everyone else’s business. Country Western was my choice of music. Riding my horse most evenings through the desert hills ba****ck was my outlet.

I don’t miss the area but I miss my horse and my parents who are on “the other side” now.
