The vendors are here, the music is playing, the food is hot, and there’s plenty happening throughout the Uptown Arts District today.

A special shoutout to the crew at Sa’Niyra’s Delights in the Buddingpreneurs tent. Our team had to show some serious self-control getting these photos before devouring the cookies. 🍪 Safe to say… they were absolutely worth the wait. 😋 Trust us, you’re going to want to grab a cookie!!

Just down the block, stop into Artspace Uptown Artist Lofts and explore the August Art Show featuring incredible work from talented local artists. It’s a great opportunity to experience the creativity that makes the Uptown Arts District so special. 🎨

Can’t make it out today? No worries! Both the Buddingpreneurs and the August Art Show at Artspace Uptown Artist Lofts will be back for First Friday next week, giving you another chance to shop, explore, and support local talent.

Last year’s Block Party brought thousands of people to Franklin Street… and this year’s celebration is shaping up to be even bigger!

Congratulations to Sacred Dunes Health on being recognized for your 10-year milestone in 2024 🎉 Sacred Dunes has continued to grow and serve our community for more than a decade!

Many people know Sacred Dunes for its healthcare services, but did you know they also have a nonprofit, Sacred Dunes Community Outreach. Through this organization, they provide support for local first responders, veterans, and those who serve our communities every day.

One easy way to support their mission is by attending their Culver’s Kickback Fundraiser on Monday, August 10, at Culver’s in La Porte. Just mention you’re there for the Sacred Dunes Community Outreach Kickback, and 10% of net sales will be donated to help fund their programs.

💙 They’re also looking for volunteers! Whether you can give an hour or spend more time helping, every volunteer makes a difference.
