This month, Coffee Milano & Currently Reading Book Club is diving into The Book Club for Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick
Set in 1963, the story follows four suburban women who come together to read and discuss The Feminine Mystique and end up questioning expectations, discovering more about themselves, and forming the kind of friendships that can change everything.

Coffee Milano & Currently Reading Book Club

📚💕 July’s book club was one for the books!

We had such a wonderful Sunday afternoon discussing Mad Mabel, and I think it’s safe to say this one was a hit! The conversations were thoughtful, funny, and heartfelt, and it was so much fun hearing everyone’s different perspectives. Our activity sparked some great conversations too (and thankfully everyone was a good sport! 😉).

One of our favorite parts of every month is watching this little community continue to grow. Seeing new faces alongside familiar ones reminds us why we started this book club in the first place.

We’re also absolutely loving our new space at Coffee Milano. It created such a cozy, intimate atmosphere that made discussion feel even more personal, and we couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, shared your thoughts, laughed with us, and helped make another meeting so special. ❤️
Now we’re already counting down until next month…

Saturday’s Sip & Stroll was a success! ☀️📚💜

It was hot, humid, a little rainy… and absolutely worth it!

Any day we get to spend talking about books is a good day. There is nothing better than helping books find the perfect readers, and this weekend so many wonderful books found their new homes. Our favorite part of every event is meeting fellow book lovers, hearing what you’re reading, swapping recommendations, and sharing our love of stories.

One of the biggest highlights of the day was hearing so many people ask, “Where’s your storefront?” 🥹❤️

While we don’t have a permanent storefront (yet 😉), hearing that question over and over was one of the biggest compliments we could receive. Thank you for making our little dream feel a little more real.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Nedrah & Nicole’s Nerdy Nook—whether you picked up a Blind Date with a Book, discovered your next favorite read, or simply stopped to chat. Your support means the world to us, and we can’t wait to see many of you again soon!

Yesterday’s discussion of How to Read a Book by Monica Wood was filled with thoughtful conversations, laughter, and plenty of heartfelt moments. It was one of those books that stayed with us long after we turned the final page.

We were so excited to welcome new members to the group, and seeing familiar faces alongside first-time attendees reminds us why we love doing this every month.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, shared your thoughts, enjoyed the themed drinks, filled out our library card activities, and helped make another meeting so special.

Every month this little community grows a little more, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
