Fresh, simple, and made with intention.

Our Burrata Sandwich starts with a fresh baguette, creamy burrata and two things we’re especially proud to make right here in-house:

• Roasted tomato spread, made from locally grown tomatoes from Barber's Farm
• Fresh pesto, made in-house from fragrant fresh basil

And for a little extra kick — Momofuku Original Chili Crunch 🌶️, which you can also find on our shelves to take home and add to your own cooking adventures.

Finished with peppery arugula for the perfect balance of creamy, savory, fresh and just a little spicy.

One of the things we love most about Harney & Sons is that their story starts right here in Upstate New York

Founded in 1983, Harney & Sons began as a small family tea company and has grown into an internationally recognized brand — while remaining family-owned and operated and continuing to produce and blend their teas in Millerton, New York.

And we love being able to bring a little piece of that New York story to our own shelves.

Every successful business, relationship, or person has one thing in common, perseverance. Success isn’t built by never making mistakes it’s built by getting back up, learning, growing, and choosing to keep moving forward.

We’ve stumbled. We’ve faced moments that could have broken us. And as you know we even listed the building for sale more than once.

Through it all, we’ve made the decision to rise above and go back to the basics.

Instead of quitting, these hard times have only reminded us why we started this journey together.

Middleburgh Coffee wasn’t built with perfection. It was handcrafted with hard work, early mornings, late nights, determination, sacrifice, and an incredible amount of love. When the shop is closed, we’re most likely still here cooking, baking, cleaning, or improving our operations.

We always knew we needed to transition to baking more in-house, and that’s exactly what we’re doing. Not all at once, but little by little.

Every sandwich we make, every pastry we create, and every step we take toward producing more in-house is another chapter in our story. We’re always learning. We’re always growing. And we’re always striving to be better—for our family and for this community.

When you choose to shop local, you’re supporting more than a small business. You’re supporting a family that refuses to quit. You’re supporting a dream that’s been built one day, one customer, and one act of kindness at a time.

To everyone who has stood beside us, believed in us, and lifted us up—thank you. You are part of this journey.
