A couple of upcoming things to mention. The store will be closed Wed 6/10 as I’ve several graduation ceremonies to attend. Then next week I’m heading to KY (family insistence) for the week (6/16-6/20). Hannah, pictured below, will cover the store some of the time. I’ll post the days she’ll open as soon as she gives me her schedule. Thank you!

REMINDER: Store hours week of May 17-23: Sunday/Monday closed as normal; Tuesday-Friday closed. Saturday open 10am-5pm with Hannah holding down the store. Back to normal schedule Tuesday, May 26.

A reminder of the beginning days of this used bookshop. Otter Creek Old and Rare Books which had been located in the basement of the Lazarus Building, since torn down. Owned by author, Ida Washington of Weybridge. On the other end of the bookmark is her husband, Larry Washington and his used bookstore, Breadloaf Books. It had been on Main Street in East Middlebury. Larry told me years ago he decided he didn’t want to be inside every day so he brought all his books to Ida’s shop. One can still find his books marked with BB in this shop.

Another Adventure for Me

Those who don't know me personally I'd like to share that my mother recently had a birthday. She turned 99 years old. Though it should be 99 years young. VABA Book Fair Wrap-up and Annoucement of Fall Fair
