Some days this job can be hard emotionally.❤️
A lady came in today and said, “I was so blessed by what I saw on Facebook this morning.” She told me that about a year ago she came in to find out what this place was all about, and I had shared my dream and vision for The Loop with her.
Then she said, “I saw this morning that God is doing exactly that.” Her daughter passed away, and today she brought in some of her things.
That conversation meant more to me than she probably knows. It was a good and needed reminder of what God is doing. 🥹❤️
Sometimes running this shop means walking through hard things with people. Then there are times they turn around and bless you. Today was one of those days.❤️

Thankful for a community that doesn’t just support The Loop, but shows up for people who need it most. Whether it’s helping house fire victims, supporting local families, donating needed items, or stepping in when someone is having a hard time, this community keeps reminding me what generosity looks like.

Partnering with Middlebury Food Pantry this week to help a local family affected by a recent house fire.
One of the things I love about working with the Pantry is that they already have everything organized. The family has secured temporary housing. The Pantry has the details worked out. All I have to do is help spread the word.❤️

This sweet granddaughter knows how to make someone’s day.❤️ When Olivia showed me what she had created, it reminded me that something made with love really does make a difference.
I’ve been thinking about an idea for a while now. Something everyone can be a part of.
To test it out, I sent her siblings home with instructions:
🎨 Decorate a bag.
🛍️ Put “The Loop” somewhere on it.
