Inventory Specialist / Inventory Data Entry
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented person to join our inventory team. This is a hands-on position that combines computer work with physically handling, sorting, tagging, and organizing merchandise.
What you’ll do:
• Enter incoming merchandise accurately into our inventory system
• Research products and look up current retail pricing
• Create and print inventory tags
• Tag and sort merchandise
• Physically handle and move merchandise as part of the inventory process
• Verify model numbers, product information, condition, and other inventory details
• Review entries for accuracy and correct discrepancies
• Help keep incoming inventory organized and moving efficiently through the process
What we’re looking for:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using computers and researching products online
• Able to stay organized while working through a large volume of merchandise
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work independently and stay productive
• Comfortable being on your feet for most of the workday
• Able and willing to physically handle merchandise
• Works well as part of a team
Previous inventory, warehouse, retail, or data-entry experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Starting pay: $15.00/hour
We are primarily looking for a full-time employee, but we are willing to consider the right person for a part-time schedule.
Location: Discount Salvage — Middlefield, Ohio
