Do you know what it means when hardware is described as "unlacquered"?

Any raw metal that has no protective or sealed coating is considered unlacquered which is often also described as a "living finish."

Unlacquered hardware will gain a natural patina and evolve continuously. It will change with age and with environmental exposure.

While unlacquered brass gets the most hype, don't sleep on solid bronze! Here are two examples (of many) that we have in store: Emtek Products' brass bathroom set and Ashley Norton's solid bronze cabinet hardware. Check them out next time you're here!

Thank you to the lovely customers who came into the store tonight. I enjoyed chatting with Cheryl, who asked how she should hang kitchen towels in her renovated space. A simple but important question!

🪜 Use a countertop or mounted towel rack near the sink for convenience.
🧲 Attach it to a magnetic hook on the side of your refrigerator.
🧺 Roll and place clean towels in a small basket for a decorative touch.
🪝 Hang it on a wall-mounted hook or cabinet handle for quick access.
