Whistle Stop Shop, located in the historic Big Four Train Depot at 25 Charles Street, right at the RailRoad tracks, is excited to participate in DMI's First Friday "Spooktacular Event"! We are worth the walk!
Since any gathering here typically involves something to eat, besides plenty of assorted candy for "Trick or Treaters," including the ever popular "Carmel Apple Suckers" while they last, we also brought back our "Decorate a homemade Pumpkin shaped Sugar Cookie" with icing and more!
We already have our mantle set up with a great fall background for your photos with friends & family...with a few optional props to loan!
For folks who would like to shop, we are offering a 10% Discount on our already low priced fall scented candles and tarts!
With four new crafters joining us just this month, there are lots of new items for you to review for potential purchases!
HOURS: Tuesday- Saturday, 10 to 2, plus First Fridays & Special Events!

Freshly recharged by all the visitors to our booth at the annual Pork Festival at the Preble County Fairgrounds in Eaton last week, we are freshly restocking our fall displays at Whistle Stop Shop! A big thank you to all of our customers that stopped by there to support us!
Leading off with our fresh "Saturday's Sweet Treat by request," following the recipe for "The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Ever," by Laura Sandford, we are updating our seasonal displays for your fall decor needs! We are also changing our photo display background for this season!
With lots of newly crafted pieces to share, we hope you can stop by soon for a visit with us AND bring a friend! Our regular hours are: Tuesday - Saturday from 10 to 2, as well as First Fridays (coming up soon on Oct 2nd from 5 to 8) and Special Events!

Whistle Stop Shop is blessed with carrying on the annual fall tradition of enjoying a booth at the Preble Country Pork Festival in Eaton, from 8 to 8 on Saturday & 8 to 5 on Sunday! Yesterday was a busy day for us!
With lots of booths to explore, ours is easy to find, just come in the back of the Expo Building right off the public parking area and go down the aisle led off by Brandon's Bees booth! (WSS Recommended Stop).
Hope you'll find time to stop by and check out our decorative, functional and "gift-worthy pieces" as the latest work by our new crafter additions with poured acrylic molds, beeswax creations, and beautiful handmade cards...

Whistle Stop Shop is excited to be working on plans for our booth at the Eaton "Pork Festival," next weekend on Saturday & Sunday! Our Shop in Middletown will still be open regular hours next week, Tuesday- Saturday, from 10 to 2, with Cindy at the counter for you on Saturday!

Whistle Stop Shop is excited to participate in today's First Friday event, "Mrs. ROPER'S ROMP" from 5 to 8 this evening. Besides a Bohemian style photo background for your pictures, we have Pink floral barretts for the first dozen participants, a "The Ropers Trivia" game, bottle of cold water, and homemade 70's "Strawberry Pretzel Dessert"!
We are also very appreciative of having three new crafters join us with their fresh displays this week! A big Whistle Stop Shop welcome to Sheron Whisman, with her unique "Creative Resin Creations," Linda Hudec, with her lovely & detailed handmade greeting cards, and Pam Layman, sharing her unique beeswax candles display!
Hope folks can manage the heat and Stop by to enjoy a visit wirh us this evening! We are "Worth the Walk"!

Whistle Stop Shop is transitioning to fall and making plans for our participation in the next First Friday, Sept 4th, 5 to 8 pm with the "Mrs. ROPER ROMP"! We are working on a new photo spot, our outlandish outfits, a sweet snack, as well as a game or activities!
We will offer a 10% Discount on non-crafter items for those sporting their own "Mrs. ROPER attire", so start working on your outfit!
TODAY/SATURDAY, our Saturday Sweet Treat is "Hummingbird Poke Cake," available to all visitors while it lasts! Recipe link is included with the photo!

We're starting the transition to Fall at Whistle Stop Shop, starting at the front door and planning for participation in Sept 4th First Friday "Roper Romp" & our booth at the annual Pork Festival in Eaton on the weekend of Sept 19 & 20!
While we have new merchandise orders from Gantz coming soon, we are also looking forward to new features in progress from our group of dedicated Family & Friends crafters! We also welcome new local crafters who may be interested in joining us...Please leave your name, craft specialty, and number so Joni can get back with you as soon as possible.
