The sheath has a small cut in belt loop about half way through the leather. Picture below. Should still last a few years? Winner will be selected at random.

Some improvements have been made to our digger sheaths. Now made with a welt more space to digging tool and less wear on the leather more space for dirt to exit through the bottom of the sheath.
