Don’t look too close at this antique dealers house. Many times the mistakes make it to stay at my house, instead of making their way to the shop. I’ve been slinging vintage close to thirty years, but I still make mistakes. Did I notice that cast iron lantern was missing two legs and the door was held on with a wing and a prayer? Or that cute lil statue had a seriously mended piece that caused that poor girl to live a one legged life? I did not. Sometimes in the excitement, you gather up a pile and don’t pay close enough attention, like you should. It’s all about the thrill of the hunt and the next big score. If us junkers are honest with ourselves, it’s kinda an addiction, a good one, as long as you don’t end up on an episode of hoarders!😂 Anyways, I’m not adverse to having a chipped this or a cracked that, if I love it and the price is low enough, it can join the party at my place! How about you, do you turn your nose up at imperfection?
