This summer, children from birth to age 18 can receive a lunch Monday through Friday, 12:30-1:00 PM at MidPointe Library Middletown. The Summer Food Service Program is funded by the USDA and is provided through a partnership between MidPointe Library and Children’s Hunger Alliance.

INTRODUCING THE SUMMER SPRAY DOWN!

The Middletown Division of Fire is excited to help you cool off this Summer with the Summer Spray Down.

Our firefighters get a lot of requests for our trucks to appear at birthday parties, block parties, schools, daycare facilities, etc. We enjoy connecting with our residents but, the Division of Fire is no longer able to fulfill individual requests for our trucks to make stops around town. Our Firefighters/Paramedics are extremely busy, making hundreds of runs each month, keeping you and your family safe, but we have a solution.

We're going to continue to provide the same level of firehouse fun on a set schedule. This Summer Spray Down schedule allows us to make planned stops across the entire city to help you keep it cool. This schedule also ensures we get to spend equal time with residents all over Middletown.

When I was a kid, a trip to visit my grandparents in Kentucky always meant one thing: as soon as we got there, I was begging to go to the general store.
Not for candy. Not for toys.
I wanted an ice-cold Ale81
There was just something special about walking into that little country store, hearing the screen door slam behind you, and reaching into the cooler for that green bottle. It tasted like summer break, family gatherings, front porch stories, and simpler times.
Funny how certain foods and drinks can instantly take you back. One sip, one smell, one taste—and suddenly you’re a kid again.
Here at Aimee’s Produce & Country Store, we love carrying some of those nostalgic favorites that bring back memories of grandparents’ kitchens, country stores, family gardens, and Sunday dinners.
