…SURPRISE!!! We were able to attend the Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market last minute this evening and boy have we missed you Yorktown! Since the devastating flood last month, the market has had to adjust to accommodate in a smaller area, but luckily the park is now back open and the market is back on!

What a great evening to shop small, enjoy live music 🎶 and stroll the beautiful park! We can’t wait to see you!!

…what a weekend!!!! 🩷🩷🩷

Pendleton & Elwood, as well as at my candle shop…you guys showed UP this weekend and I am so, so grateful. Two separate festivals, (one which was 2 days long), late days/nights preparing, all hands on deck…this is the superbowl season for small businesses.

To say I am exhausted, is an understatement. I feel like I could sleep for the next 3 days. 🤪 But it was so, so worth it. 🫶🏻

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported us this weekend, even in the rain! Every single time someone chooses Sugar Creek to buy their candles from, I am humbled. Every.Single.Time. With so many other wonderful candle businesses out there, I am grateful that you choose us. My heart is so full.

I still can’t believe that I get to do this for my “job”, I love it so much. From starting in my kitchen a couple of years ago as a hobby, to this…I am still in awe. I truly enjoy creating and making every product.

So to every customer that shopped with us this weekend, I hope you all enjoy your new candles, wax melts & diffusers and know that they were made with love from my shop to you!

A special THANK YOU to those special people in my life that not only help me with Sugar Creek on a daily basis, but really help make these events possible by always showing up for me. …what a BEAUTIFUL morning for a fall festival!! ☀️

We’re all set up today & tomorrow at the Pendleton Heritage Fair from 10-6 along with TONS of other great vendors and food trucks! Come out and shop small this weekend while kicking off the fall season. It is a LOT of work setting up and preparing for these events, so show some love to your local, small businesses! 🫶🏻

Our booth is located in front of the white gazebo in falls park and don’t forget that the first 50 customers that spend $50 get a FREE canvas market tote!

The shop is also open today from 10-5. 🛍️

…Sugar Creek has temporarily taken over my kitchen again for the week, so I can work late on this new project and still be at home. I haven’t had to work on anything in my kitchen since I moved to the shop, but…I’m in a time cRuNcH! 🤪 So, I brought all the supplies for this new project home with me and the kitchen is now my temporary workshop…again!

Brand 🆕 product coming to the shop later this week, just in time for the fall festivals!

We’re also so excited to be offering these screen printed by hand (by my sweet friend and fellow small business owner, Grown In Grace), canvas, reusable market bags to our customers this year! FREE with a $50 purchase to the first 50 customers at both events. I chose these totes (size, color & design) with my customers in mind to tote around all your lovely market goodies! 🛍️
