🚨New Middletown Scoop!🚨
🎉A new indie bookstore has opened in Middletown!
🫦Velvet Vows, an independent dark romance bookshop, is NOW OPEN at 105 College Street (AKA 400 Plaza Middlesex) in Middletown, next door to the new Arnie’s Art Cafe and Aroy Thai Garden! The shop hosted its grand opening celebration yesterday to a long line of eager customers.
📖The new bookstore focuses on dark romance, horror, science fiction, fantasy, and many other genres. Velvet Vows will be an 18+ environment with no children’s offerings. The space is divided into 2 areas, a front room with science fiction & fantasy and a back section home to their romance & horror.
📚Velvet Vows is open in the afternoons and into the late evening hours, bringing book shopping to Middletown’s ever-growing nightlife. Check them out!
‼️This block is now a flurry of new businesses! Velvet Vows opens its doors this weekend. Veegmyeats will be opening its vegan bakery (just around the corner) on September 5th. And Arnie’s Art Cafe is coming soon next door to Velvet Vows with a hybrid coffee shop and art studio concept.
