I'm so mad at myself for not having book 2 yet ugghh.
This is such a great fantasy read and a top tier first book. An excellent beginning to a dark, dangerous, and emotional series.

Widely regarded as one of the best YA fantasy series. Similar in vibe to hunger games in that it's full of dark themes without being too graphic. The love interest is there but it's not the main plot.

I thought the Augurs, jinn, ghuls, were really interesting and I can't wait to see where this series goes!!
