Shelterhouse Resale Shop The Shelterhouse Resale Shop is now open in the Kmart Plaza at 1830 South Saginaw Rd in Midland. The Shelterhouse Outlet is now open just steps away!

Thrift to empower. Discover joy in donating your gently used items. And embrace the thrill of the hunt. Simply by thrifting or donating your items, you can join Shelterhouse in our mission to empowering survivors of domestic and sexual violence by providing refuge, hope, and healing. The Shelterhouse Resale Shop has been in our community for over nine years, and was first imagined and made possible by committed volunteers. Our shelves and bins are filled by community members who generously donate, and the funds you spend make the free and confidential services provided by Shelterhouse possible! For example, in 2020:
3,175 hours were given by over 400 volunteers to make the Resale Shop and Outlet possible.
$350,000+ worth of merchandise was donated.
$13,821 worth of merchandise helped survivors directly through vouchers.
$303,354 in proceeds benefitted Shelterhouse's empowering missing. Thank you, Midland and Gladwin Counties, for your continuous generosity, your commitment, your creativity and your empowering joy.
