Father’s Day is almost here!

Still looking for a gift for a father, grandfather, or father figure in your life? Stop by The Little Bookshop before 4PM on Friday and let us help you find the perfect book.

A few of the titles featured in these photos include board books and picture books for little ones to share with Dad, the Murderbot series (one of Mary’s all-time favorites!), several Dungeon Crawler Carl books if the time feels right to start that adventure, and a great recommendation for fans of Project Hail Mary.

We also have plenty for history and nonfiction readers, including the new book on Teddy Roosevelt, a fascinating new release about AI, and the popular Ron Chernow biography of Mark Twain. Looking for something for the outdoorsman in your life? Check out the beautiful fly-fishing title featured here; it looks fantastic.

Thank you to Richmond & Midlothian area book lovers and new faces, longtime customers, and returning friends, for making Indie Bookstore Day and the Greater RVA Indie Bookstore Tour such an incredible success 💓

It was amazing seeing so many people take advantage of the crawl to come visit our small-but-mighty store in Sycamore Square in Midlothian. We had more people complete the tour than ever before. More importantly, we hope we shared some great books with you and conversation and connection as well. We truly have such an awesome book community.

Being part of the indie bookstore scene here brings me so much joy. I am grateful to be part of a flourishing ecosystem of booksellers, readers, and inclusive community spaces, and we appreciate every person who continues to shop local and support small businesses.

Congratulations to our Grand Prize winner, Bow S., who won $550 worth of gift certificates to participating stores!
