We're a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to helping the less fortunate in Miles City. The revenue generated from our recycling operations directly funds our charitable programs, turning every bale into a benefit for those in need.
The Role: Recycling Center Operator
As our Recycling Center Operator, you'll be vital to our mission, overseeing all recycling activities to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. This is a full-time position (30-40 hours/week), starting at $15/hour, based on experience.
What You'll Do
• Manage daily recycling center operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and adhere to recycling company specifications.
• Operate and maintain a baler and forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory and production records.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
• Communicate effectively with the Store Director.
What You'll Bring
• Self-motivated and highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License (insurable by St. Vincent de Paul).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Must obtain forklift certification recognized by Montana Department of Labor within 3 months.
