Ever wonder what a SCRAP AND SAIL CRUISE is like?? OMGoodness everyone, you need to sign up today ...
Here are the details ... The last one in May 2025 was awesome!!
Table Space: Even though two of us shared a 6-foot table in May 2025, we had a very large side chair that extended our spot and the tables were spaciously placed so no one felt crowded. Plenty of floor space too. Most everyone power sorted for scrapbooking, brought diamond dots, made cards or card kits and minimized packing their project(s) into a suitcase or two. Of course, on the Scrap and Sail Cruise #1 the year before, everyone had their own 6-foot table.
Power Sorting for Success: I completed about 10 two-page layouts (plus 8 cards) last time because I sorted my pictures and memorabilia on page refills and placed them in order in my power sort box. I only brought paper collections and cardstock for those page layouts. I also brought my trimmer bag. I had 95 percent of what I needed. I had a sticky note pad and made a few notes on what I needed for a particular page when I returned home.
Crafting, Cruising, Eating, Drinking: The cruise was a great balance of scrapbooking, cruising, eating, seeing shows, eating, having cocktails in unique bars, more eating, etc. Plenty of time to do many, many things. It costs only a $99 non-refundable fee to book your spot in the conference room for any Scrap and Sail.
Next Cruise: We just had a couple of cancellations for the October 1 to 10, 2026 Scrap and Sail #3 to New England. Itinerary is below. PLUS, we have one sailor looking for a roommate to share the stateroom expense. We also have 4 balcony staterooms available in our block (one is a triple accommodation stateroom). We have 3 spots in the conference room for crafting. Email our travel agent, Kim Motyka, at [email protected] for specific pricing. The original flyer is below to give you pricing info when we first starting selling these spots.
The Cruise After That: On May 23 to 30, 2027, we are sailing to Bermuda. I am super excited about this one as that is a new destination for me. We only have Inside Staterooms and Oceanview Balcony cabins available. Price range is $1,381 per person to $2,031 per person depending on the type of stateroom you select.
Does your roommate need to be a crafter or scrapbooker: NO, we have husbands, sisters, daughters, etc going and there is time to craft plus spend time with your loved one during the cruise.
