Join us at The Bookmatters for an evening with Sonia Feldman, author of the national bestselling novel Girl’s Girl!

Sonia Feldman is a Cleveland-based writer whose work has appeared in The Missouri Review, The Southern Review, and Waxwing. She is the winner of the PEN America PEN/Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers and the creator of Sonia’s Poem of the Week, a popular email newsletter celebrating poetry.

Her debut novel, Girl’s Girl, is a sharp, intimate story of friendship, desire, girlhood, and the complicated ways we understand ourselves through the people closest to us.

On November 13th at 7 PM Sonia will be in conversation with Aditha Reddy! There will then be time for audience questions and book signing.

A portrait of a ghost... made from an egg carton? Yes. Absolutely.

Join us October 15th for a spooky little craft night at The Bookmatters! From 6:30–8 PM, we'll be turning egg cartons into DIY ghost portraits that you can decorate, customize, and take home.

All supplies will be provided, and tickets are $10 and available on our website!

No artistic talent required. Just a willingness to make something wonderfully weird.
Come make some ghosts!

Bring whatever project you’ve been working on, whatever craft you’ve been meaning to try, or simply come hang out and work alongside fellow stationery lovers.

This is a Stationery Society members-only event, so grab your craft supplies and come spend the evening creating, chatting, and enjoying some crafty community time.

Ready to venture somewhere wild? Join us at The Bookmatters for The Neon Jungle, a D&D one-shot inspired by Dungeon Crawler Carl!

Survive the Neon Jungle, battle bizarre alien creatures, and prove you’re worthy of the galaxy’s deadliest game show. Just remember: you are always being watched. Whether you’ve been playing D&D for years or have never rolled a D20 before, this adventure is for you!

No character creation required! A pre-made character will be provided, so you can jump right into the action without worrying about building a character from scratch. Kenzie will guide you through the game, making this a fun and approachable experience for complete beginners and seasoned players alike.

If you would like to create your own character, Kenzie can guide you through the process as it looks a bit different for this one-shot! Upon sign-up you will receive an email with all information you will need to prepare.
