Well, today's the day. After 32 summers of shaving Ice, this will be the last for me. I thank so many of you for the kind words the past few weeks. I'm glad Coop's was a happy part of your family's traditions and memories. I've been lucky to have had great support from my friends, neighbors (Skyline & Lehr's) and family. The biggest thanks goes to my wife and kids for dealing with constant challenges and interrupted family events to in order to keep a small business running with success. We are only 3 open more weeks. Many of you have asked about buying flavors before we close. Starting today through August 28th, you can pre-order any bottle of flavor that you would like. It will come with a cap, pourer spout and nitecap. These are available to pre-order and prepay only, with pickup 2-3 days after the order is placed. They will be $15.00 each. Hopefully we get to see everybody one last time before we close. Thanks again for all of the continued support.

They say that all good things have to come to an end. So, after 32 summers of shaving Ice at Coop's, I have decided that this will be our last year.

I started out as a young 18 year old straight out of high school and I'll be ending as a (not so young) 50 year old looking forward to open summers with my wife and grown kids and summers without worrying about every passing storm or filling all of the open shifts. I am so thankful for the Milford and surrounding community's support over the three plus decades. I opened in Mt. Carmel in 1994 and then moved to Milford in 1995. I hope that Coop's was a great part of your summer memories over the years. There is nothing better than hearing our customers tell their kids, while waiting at the window, that they came to Coop's with their parents when they were kids, too. PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT SMALL, LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS like you did for me, and for as long as you did for Coop's Tropical Ice.

Thank you to my family, friends, and my loyal customers, for allowing me to serve you and be a part of our Milford community for such a long time. We will be open until August 31, 2025.

This will be the last week of the summer for us here at Coop's. Thank you to all who have made it another great summer and to the many customers who return year after year after year. Sunday, September 1st, will be our last day of 2024. We will return in the Spring of 2025 for our 32nd summer.
