This is a good one y’all!

We bought our main house here in Edenton today! Lots of moving pieces! LOTS!!!

We started years ago after meeting a friendly hometown realtor named Amber Hardy.

We toured homes…MANY homes.

Through pure grace Amber put up with my many calls and texts. 💙

Have you ever met someone who just feels like home? When we think of the reasons why we love Edenton, Amber is at the top of that list. Her friendship is one of our most cherished things.

With her help we bought lil fixer cottage and over the course of a few years turned that into a home.

All while owning and running a business 5 hours away. This meant lots of time on the road.

At the beginning of 2026 we opened a second business. This time in Edenton. We looked and looked for a primary home. ( the cottage is roughly 1000sq ft… kinda small for us.

We finally found our forever home this July.

Making a transition to another state has not been easy. A whole lot of moving pieces and we’ve made a lot of new friends in Edenton 💙.

Fixing up an old house isn’t for the faint of heart. The list of people that have helped is incredibly long.

Making friends with a great contractor and his family is a win 🥇 for us.

Bryant Sexton from Northern Roots Construction LLC has not disappointed one single time . Disclaimer…this isn’t our home.

Unpacked a box of goodies yesterday.

It was time for our soap restock.

You might be seeing a few new ones.

The Pumpkin 🎃 Spice & The Maple 🍁 are both awesome 🤩 seasonal options.

The Aloe comes highly recommended for our ☀️ sun loving peeps!

The Bay Rum is a great tropical one for those of us not wanting summer to go so quick.

Lemon 🍋 Mint Scrub is my current fav…fresh and clean smelling.

Having a custom Soap made just for us feels so fun!

(I think our UPS peeps in DE are gonna be happy to see us gone, we love our delivery drivers but I know they are tired of the boxes) 📦
