For one weekend, we're filling the Firehouse Gallery with affordable donated art, craft, fabric, yarn, paper, tools, and all kinds of creative treasures—materials looking for their next project and makers looking for inspiration.

A retreat doesn't have to mean traveling far away. 🌿

Just about 30 minutes from Milford, tucked into the woods in Newtown, you'll find Sticks & Stones Retreat Center—a beautiful, rustic stone barn surrounded by trees, trails, and a peaceful pond.

For one Saturday, we'll step away from the usual hustle and spend the day here making, exploring, eating, talking, and simply enjoying some space to breathe.

Have towels you’re looking to part with? Donate to the Stratford Animal Control!

WE ARE COMPLETELY OUT OF TOWELS! PLEASE SHARE AND HELP SPREAD THE WORD!

Our shelter animals need your help. Please check your linen closets, bathrooms and storage bins for clean, used towels you no longer need.

We go through an incredible number of towels every day for bedding, bathing, cleaning, medical care, puppies, kittens and keeping our animals clean and comfortable.

Clean, used bath towels and hand towels are perfect! They don’t need to match or look pretty — our animals certainly don’t care!

Donations can be dropped off 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and left in the donation bins outside the shelter:
