A little look back to a more festive and traditional Easter. This year I’m trying
to keep Preston’s going. Just wanted Aida fans to know Irene has the candy
maker that made our Cinnamon Almonds making them again! Not only are
they egg shaped and yummy, they’re exceptional comfort food. Hope to see
or hear from you. Store hours are M-Sat 11-6.

Aida fans, I’d so appreciate when you’re out on your “essential errands”, to the
pharmacy, bank or groceries, maybe stop by Preston’s for a treat. There are
pre-packed ice creams and chocolates for easy and quick pick up. You can
also call 650 344-3254 and I can have what you need ready for you. I’ve been
helping Irene keep the store open and get ready for Easter. (Hopefully we’ll have
an Easter!). It is one of those holidays that make (or break) a candy business.

For those fans of Aida’s dried cherry, cappuccino almond and Black Forest
caramel mix....you can now find it now at Preston’s. I’m helping Irene part time
and she’s trying to supply some of our products you have missed. She’ll
also have a lot of my molds for special occasions. Hope to see you there.😊

Thank you for all the interest in what the future will bring me.
Now I would appreciate if our fans would get the word out that
Preston’s IS still in business. Irene says her customers have
come in saying they heard she was closing. I hate for her to
lose business in this confusion. Thank you for your help and I
hope to have news soon.

A Final Farewell

This is what Christmas looked like when Aida opened in Burlingame 33 years ago. A happy and hopeful time. Since then we always existed but never thrived and tried to keep the tradition going. Foolishly the last years have been more debtful than successful so we must close at the end of the year.
We would truly appreciate any business you can give us to help ease the pain of this decision.
Please keep me in mind if you can use a very hardworking and dependable employee. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to retire.

Next Wednesday, “Thanksgiving Eve” the store will
close at 5:00. Come see or call and order your turkeys,
cornucopias, Fall leaves and harvest themed goodies
soon. This may be Aida’s last Thanksgiving so please
