A great post from our flower friends in Freeman. Unfortunately this happens in Miller too.

🌸⚠️ A FRIENDLY WARNING ABOUT ONLINE FLOWER ORDERING SCAMS! ⚠️🌸 A quick note from your local florist in Freeman, SD! 💐

We want to help protect our customers from the disappointment that can come with ordering flowers through third-party websites.
This photo is a great example of why ordering directly from your local florist matters!

💐 HERE'S HOW IT CAN HAPPEN:
A customer places a $150 flower order through an online flower-ordering website. The website then forwards the order to a local florist to design and deliver. However, the local florist may receive only $68 of that original $150 to create the arrangement. That means the florist must design the arrangement using only the money received, not the full amount the customer paid.

These third-party services, often called order gatherers, can make it seem like you're ordering directly from a florist when your order is actually being passed along to another business.
🚩 WHY SHOULD YOU BE CAUTIOUS?
👉 The arrangement may look very different from the photo advertised online.
👉 The local florist may receive only a portion of the amount you paid.
👉 Some websites may claim an order has been placed, but the order may never reach a local florist.
👉 Delivery may not be any faster than ordering directly from a local shop.

At Vintage Vault Floral, we want you to get the flowers you paid for and the personal service you deserve! ❤️

🌷 ORDER DIRECT. SHOP LOCAL. KNOW WHO'S MAKING YOUR FLOWERS. 🌷 When you order directly from us, your floral budget goes toward your order, and we can work with you to create something beautiful that fits your budget and preferences.

There are moments in life when we wish we could take away someone's heartache. When we want to say something meaningful, but no words seem quite right.

Sometimes, the most beautiful thing we can do is simply remind someone they aren't walking through their grief alone.

A thoughtful arrangement, a handwritten message, or a small gesture of remembrance can speak volumes when words fall short.
