In the end, the group walked away with two vintage lighters and a Hello Kitty vase.

After handling thousands of vintage lighters over the years, I’ve learned that if something exists, there’s a decent chance someone made a lighter promoting it.

The answer is yes… and no.

I’ve sold a few mermaid table lighters over the years, but right now this is the only mermaid lighter I have available. What’s funny is it’s actually pulling double duty—it’s a mermaid lighter AND a fishing lighter.

Why? Because it’s an advertising lighter for Roddy’s Roddymatic fishing reels. So depending on who you ask, it’s either a fishing themed lighter or a mermaid theme.

What should I try to find a lighter for next?

The Electric Supermatch Model 1500 is one of the few Lighters from the 1970s that I absolutely love ! 💕 using electricity from batteries and lighter fluid its one of the most satisfying lighting mechanisms !
