At Berger and Green, we love highlighting the work our staff does in the community. Today, we're spotlighting Amanda from our Social Security Disability team.

Amanda volunteers with The Valentine Project, an organization that provides valentines and gifts to children battling chronic illnesses. Each year, she donates handblown glass art, not just her own, but pieces she collects from other glass artists in her network. Last year, the organization brought a group of kids to her studio for a glassblowing demo.

"A previous employer was donating cards, and I wanted to send in some glass. I've been doing it every year since," Amanda said.

For Amanda, the best part is simple: "Getting to share my art and craft with children who may not necessarily get access to the art and experience. Getting to put smiles on their faces from something I've created."

Thank you, Amanda, for sharing your talent with kids who need a little extra joy. 💙
